Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and guidelines during oncology treatments.
- Conduct quality control checks on radiation equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for staff members on radiation safety procedures.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize treatment plans based on patient specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure levels, dosages, and side effects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2-7 years of experience in Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) role or related field.
- MS/M.Sc(Science) degree with specialization in Physics or equivalent qualification.
- Solid understanding of oncology principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
