Role & responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of DG Sets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators.
- Perform routine inspections and ensure optimum performance of DG equipment.
- Attend service calls and breakdown complaints at customer sites.
- Conduct load testing and performance checks of DG Sets.
- Maintain service reports, job cards, and customer records.
- Coordinate with customers and provide technical support when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Monitor spare parts requirements and report inventory needs.
- Provide timely resolution of customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, control panels, and DG systems.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for report preparation.




- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel for field service assignments.

- Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic abilities.

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and hands-on experience in DG Sets are preferred.

Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Diesel Generator (DG Set) installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing.
- Experience with leading DG brands such as Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Cooper, etc. will be an advantage.
