Role Description This is a full time, on-site Revenue Manager role based at Merlis Hotels in Coimbatore.

The Revenue

Manager will oversee room inventory, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to maximize revenue and profitability. Daily responsibilities include monitoring market trends, analyzing booking patterns, and adjusting rates and packages across online and offline platforms. The role involves preparing revenue forecasts, reviewing performance reports, and collaborating with sales, front office, and reservations teams to align pricing and promotional activities.

Manager will also ensure accurate revenue recording, maintain compliance with internal policies,



and provide regular insights to leadership on opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support sound revenue decisions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in revenue management and revenue recognition to optimize pricing, inventory, and reporting accuracy.
- Candidates should possess finance and accounting skills to manage budgets, reconcile revenue, and ensure financial compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with hotel PMS, channel managers, and revenue management tools, along with solid Excel skills.
- Relevant experience in hotel or hospitality revenue management is preferred, ideally in a similar on-site role.
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work with attention to detail, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Knowing regional language (Tamil) will be an added advantage.
- 5 star hotel experience is preferred.
