ISS STOXX is seeking Research Analyst for their Investor Economics division at Mumbai.

Responsibilities

- Financial literacy - Should have a basic level of understanding of financial products across the financial spectrum (Banking, Insurance, Asset wealth management and Capital markets)
- Develop necessary skillsets via training - Undergo training on data sources to collect information and produce content.
- Information gathering : Conduct research on emerging trends in the financial markets (esp. asset/wealth management,



insurance and capital markets). Compile a list of global trends, also covering ongoing tracking of industry metrics and developments.
- Deliverables : Contribute to production of research periodicals and other outputs as required. Support for one-time engagements at ISS IE by conducting requisite research to produce the output.
- Team player - Proactively share knowledge and understanding of industry developments with the global ISS IE Research team, on a formal and informal basis.

Qualifications
- An undergraduate or graduate degree from a well-recognised university in economics, finance, commerce, or business administration. Other disciplines such as mathematics, statistics or social sciences will be considered in combination with experience.
- 1-2 years experience in the financial services or wealth management industries would be preferred (though not necessary)
- Must be proficient in standard office software (MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Strong command and understanding of MS Excel and working knowledge of databases an asset.
- Nice to have: previous experience with Power BI, Python, SPSS, R
- High attention to detail and data integrity.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal and people management skills.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
