Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Government of India The SSC will hold the Combined Higher Secondary Level(10 + 2) Examination, 2019-2020 in Computer Based Mode for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Data Entry Operator, Grade "A" in different Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of Government of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices tentatively during the period from 16.03.2020 to 27.03.2020 (Tier-1).

Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2020

- Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA), Pay: Pay Level-2 (₹ 19,900 – 63,200)
- Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Pay: Pay Level-4 (₹ 25,500 – 81,100)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO), Pay: Pay Level-4 (₹ 25,500 – 81,100)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO), Grade ‘A’, Pay: Pay Level-4 (₹ 25,500 – 81,100)

Selection Process: The examination will consist of a Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III)



Examination for the post of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk. Application Fee: Candidates belonging to OBC and UR (General) Candidates are required to pay Application fee of ₹ 100/-. The fee exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen.
