**Position Summary**
The Financial Inclusion Officer works to ensure that marginalized, vulnerable, or unbanked individuals and communities gain equitable access to affordable, secure, and appropriate financial products and services. The role focuses on bridging the gap between traditional financial institutions and underserved populations—such as low-income households, rural communities, or displaced persons—by driving financial literacy, building multi-stakeholder partnerships, and promoting digital financial solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Strategy and Program Implementation**
* Support the design, rollout, and execution of financial inclusion strategies and action plans.
* Identify barriers to financial access within target communities and help design tailored interventions (e.g., microfinance schemes, basic bank accounts, savings groups,
or digital wallets).
* Assist in pilot-testing digital financial services and alternative credit-scoring models suited for low-income or remote populations.
**2. Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement**
* Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with commercial banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs), fintech companies, credit unions, and regulatory bodies.
* Collaborate with local government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community groups to coordinate outreach and advocacy efforts.
* Engage with financial service providers (FSPs) to encourage the creation of inclusive, gender-responsive, and climate-resilient financial products.
**3. Financial Literacy and Capacity Building**
* Design and deliver financial education and capability-building workshops covering budgeting, debt management, savings, and consumer rights.
