Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced R&D; Executive – Cosmetics to join our Skin Care and Hair Care product development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing new cosmetic formulations, conducting trials, improving existing products, and supporting the complete product development process from laboratory scale to commercial production.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop new Skin Care and Hair Care cosmetic formulations.
- Conduct laboratory trials and formulation experiments.
- Develop products such as creams, gels, lotions, face washes, serums, shampoos, conditioners, hair oils, and hair serums.
- Select and evaluate suitable cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, preservatives, emulsifiers, surfactants, thickeners, and fragrances.
- Improve existing formulations based on product performance, stability, quality, and customer requirements.
- Conduct stability studies and monitor product performance.
- Evaluate pH, viscosity, appearance, texture, fragrance, and other basic product parameters.
- Identify and troubleshoot formulation-related issues.
- Conduct pilot batches and support scale-up from laboratory to production.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Purchase, and Stores teams during product development.
- Research new cosmetic ingredients, herbal extracts, actives, and formulation technologies.
- Maintain formulation sheets, trial records, product development reports, and R&D; documentation.




- Support preparation of product specifications, SOPs, and batch-related technical documents.
- Ensure R&D; activities follow GMP and company quality procedures.
- Research market trends and develop creative cosmetic product concepts.
- Perform other R&D; activities assigned by Management.

Requirements
- B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- B.Sc / M.Sc Cosmetic Science
- B.Tech / M.Tech Chemical Engineering
- Other relevant qualifications with strong cosmetic formulation knowledge

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Cosmetic / Personal Care R&D; is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in Skin Care and/or Hair Care formulation development.
- Experience in cosmetic manufacturing or herbal cosmetic manufacturing will be preferred.
- Freshers are not eligible.
- Candidates with only QC or Microbiology experience without formulation experience will not be considered.
