Desktop Support Engineer (Field Support)

Role Summary

Digitech Global Private Limited is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Field Role) to provide on-site technical support, manage installations, handle client service requests, and lead installation activities at customer locations. The candidate should have solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to coordinate with installation teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT equipment at client sites.
- Supervise and coordinate installation activities and installation teams.
- Prepare and maintain installation reports and project documentation.
- Attend client service calls and provide timely resolution to technical issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and peripheral-related problems.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.




- Maintain service records and ensure adherence to service timelines.
- Knowledge of handling and updating official portals/websites will be an added advantage.

Requirements
- Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Field Support.
- Strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer installation, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking and Windows operating systems.
- Valuable communication, reporting, and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for field support and client visits.
