About The Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Drawings Review and Quality Control Specialist to join Uppteam. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the review process of design and construction drawings to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and coordination across disciplines. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying discrepancies, ensuring adherence to project standards, and facilitating seamless interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.




- Demonstrated experience in reviewing construction drawings, quality control processes, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of relevant construction standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

- Thoroughly review architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings to ensure design integrity and completeness.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, omissions, or inconsistencies within the drawings to prevent construction issues.
- Utilize comprehensive QC checklists to verify the inclusion of all necessary design components and compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure synchronization across all drawings and documentation.
- Employ clash detection techniques, including overlay methods and Building Information Modeling (BIM), to identify and resolve conflicts early in the design process.
- Maintain detailed records of review findings and communicate necessary revisions to relevant teams.




- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to enhance project delivery and reduce errors.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices to continuously improve review processes.
