Role & responsibilities
Digital Content QA
- Complete QA reviews of digital outbound marketing communications, including email, Rich Content Messaging, mobile messaging, landing pages, and related digital experiences.
- Review content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, consistency, and approved messaging.
- Check that campaign content aligns with approved copy, creative assets, campaign briefs, legal requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Perform rendering checks across required devices, browsers, email clients, and screen sizes.
- Validate that layouts, images, calls to action, buttons, and key content elements display correctly.
- Identify content, design, formatting, and rendering issues before campaign deployment.
Functional and Link Validation
- Test URLs, calls to action, tracking parameters, and deep links to ensure customers are directed to the intended destination.
- Validate that linked pages and digital journeys work as expected across mobile and desktop experiences.
- Check personalization fields, offer details, dates, disclaimers, eligibility messaging, and mandatory content for accuracy.
- Assist with testing responsive design behaviour and campaign journeys across relevant devices and platforms.
- Document issues clearly and accurately using agreed QA tools and tracking systems.
Preferred candidate profile
Must have skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing QA of projects in an agency or consulting environment and working with deployment teams.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies like Agile, Defect Management System, Quality Assurance and documentation.
- Prior knowledge of email testing platforms such as email on acid, litmus, or equivalent
- Strong written English skills, including spelling, grammar, proofreading, and attention to language quality.
- High attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in copy, formatting, links,
and visual presentation.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing communications, particularly email and mobile messaging.
- Ability to work from campaign briefs, requirements, checklists, and defined processes.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and receive feedback constructively.
- Preferred prior experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or a similar role.

Good to have skills
- Working knowledge of MoEngage, Adobe Campaign Classic, SFMC, or equivalent email platform.
- Experience in both content, data testing, marketing automation and cross channel campaign
- Hands on knowledge of direct/web-based marketing campaigns and customer data and analytics
- Knowledge of segmentation and deployment services and digital marketing
- A thorough understanding of lead scoring and lead lifecycle management
- Should have working knowledge about smart campaigns, smart list targeting, scheduling, and setting up process flows
- Competency with Test plan formulation, creating test design specs, test matrixes and knowledge of tagging, deeplinking, and smart linking.
- Understanding of campaign management life cycle and execution process flow
- Robust knowledge of defect tracking, reporting and triaging with modern tools (TFS, DevOps, Spira, Jira)
- Experience working with common project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Slack, Workfront and Microsoft Teams
