QA Tester & Support Associate

About the Role

As a QA Tester & Customer Support Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our SaaS product while supporting customers in their day-to-day operations. You'll combine hands-on manual testing with customer support, issue tracking, product documentation, and close coordination with the tech and product teams to ensure problems are identified, communicated, and resolved effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct manual testing of web and application features to identify bugs, usability issues, and functional gaps.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, regression testing, and user acceptance testing for new features and product updates.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, expected results, and actual results.
- Provide first-level customer support through calls, WhatsApp, email, or other support channels and resolve product-related queries.
- Understand customer issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate with the technical team for issues requiring further investigation.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to validate bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release.
- Create and maintain test cases, SOPs, product documentation, FAQs, and internal knowledge-base content.
- Collect customer feedback and identify recurring issues, feature requests, and opportunities to improve the product.
- Assist in product demos and onboarding sessions for customers when required.
- Maintain proper records of customer issues, bugs, resolutions, and follow-ups.
- Liaise between customers, support, product, and technology teams to ensure transparent communication and timely resolution.





Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, QA, technical support, customer support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, test cases, bug reporting, and regression testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer problems and explain technical solutions in a simple manner.
- Familiarity with web applications, SaaS products, CRM, ERP, or business software.
- Experience with bug tracking or project management tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, SQL, or browser developer tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work closely with developers and product teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and product workflows.
