Job Title: Senior SOLIDWORKS PDM Administrator

As the Senior SOLIDWORKS PDM Administrator, you will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic evolution of the SOLIDWORKS PDM Skilled environment. You will partner with Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to ensure efficient engineering data management and seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Responsibilities
PDM Administration System Management
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize PDM vaults, workflows, lifecycle states, data cards, variables, templates, serial numbers, dispatch scripts, and automation.
- Administer user accounts, security groups, permissions, and role-based access.
- Maintain vault performance, system reliability, backup and disaster recovery strategies, and overall system health.
- Monitor system utilization and recommend performance improvements.




Engineering Data Governance
- Establish and maintain engineering data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure document integrity, revision control, engineering change management ECO, and release processes.
- Define and enforce CAD standards, naming conventions, metadata standards, and document control procedures.
- Protect company intellectual property through appropriate security and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
System Architecture Integration
- Lead architecture planning and continuous improvement of the SOLIDWORKS PDM environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with enterprise systems including:
- SAP or Oracle ERP
- Agile PLM / Oracle Cloud PLM
- Active Directory
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows Server
- AWS infrastructure (where applicable)
- Coordinate server migration
