Junior and Senior Residents are responsible for providing medical care to patients under supervision, assisting in clinical procedures, and supporting academic and departmental activities. They ensure patient safety, maintain medical records, and contribute to the overall functioning of the hospital in line with clinical protocols and NABH standards.
- Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care:
- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings under supervision.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as per departmental guidelines.
- Assist in or perform clinical procedures and minor surgeries under guidance.
- Monitor patient progress, record observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and support senior consultants in critical cases.

Academic / Departmental Duties:
- Participate in teaching, training, and mentoring interns and medical students.
- Attend departmental meetings, case discussions, and clinical audits.
- Contribute to research projects, case studies, and quality improvement initiatives.





Administrative Duties:
- Ensure proper documentation for patient care, procedures, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with nursing and support staff for smooth patient management.
- Assist in departmental administration as required.
- Qualifications Experience
- Junior Resident: MBBS (with completion of compulsory internship) or equivalent recognized degree.
- Senior Resident: MD/MS/DNB or equivalent post-graduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Registration with Rajasthan Medical Council is mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Junior Resident is preferred for Senior Resident positions.
