Job Summary

1% Club is looking for agile and smart HR professional for their People function - who can do hiring across tech and non-tech roles, and support in monthly payroll and statutory compliance as the coordination point between the VP - HR and Finance, to day-to-day HR operations, administration and employee engagement. This is an execution-focused, role for a growing team, not a specialist or team-lead position. It suits someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership without needing heavy supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment if also have tech hiring knowledge would also add an advantage.
- Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, screen resumes and conduct screening calls.
- Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and drive candidates through closure
- Maintain and report on recruitment trackers, TAT and offer-to-joining ratios
HR Operations Administration
- Help in managing employee lifecycle - onboarding, documentation, HRMS data management, and exit formalities




- Manage and run general office administration (vendor coordination, employee facilities, asset tracking, vendor negotiation etc.)
Payroll Statutory Compliance
- Act as the point of coordination between the VP - HR and the Finance team on all payroll matters, ensuring information flows accurately and on time between both sides every month
- Help process and collate attendance/leave inputs.
- Help in Compute TDS on salaries and serve as the bridge between HR and Finance/CA on quarterly TDS returns and Form 16 issuance
- Help and Track compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, MLWF and other statutory filings, flagging any gaps or deadlines to VP - HR and Finance well in advance
- Can be the point of contact along with the VP - HR for payroll-related employee queries (payslips, reimbursements, tax declarations, investment proofs), routing anything that needs Finances input
