Job Summary

The Team lead for mechanical and mechatronic design for in-house E/E/C is responsible for leading the mechanical design and industrialization of the electrical and electronic components across all stages of the product development lifecycle (from initial concept phase to mass production). This position will enable the candidate to work across different components and understand the interfaces between them as well as working in innovative products and designs for leading edge company technologies (EV, advanced materials, etc.). The role will have broad responsibility, creative capability, high-visibility and recognitions. The candidate will be responsible of:
Responsibilities
- Design and development of mechanical concepts and components which are part of electrical and electronic components such as (but not limited to): battery pack design, electric motor design, charger and other electronic ECUs packaging and housing design, interfaces and fixation mechanisms of EV components.




- Design and development of chemical and thermal concepts to improve performance of EE components: thermal management systems, thermal interfaces, adhesives and joint mechanisms, etc.
- Managing the mechanical development team and ensuring adherence to company's standards and guidelines as well as reviewing the designs and drawings as per company and international standards (GD&T;, surface treatments, etc.).
- Ensure industrialization of the designs by reviewing and implementing manufacturing best practices and DFM and DFA requirements.
- Create E/E/C mechanical design standards and re-usability of proven design concepts for first-time-right designs and faster time-to-market.
- Developing a capable and high performing team with technical expertise and winning cultures and enhance team competences for advanced technologies and designs. Challenging state-of-the-art designs, manufacturing methods and assembly methods.
