Job Description:

MISSION

Contribute to a protected engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications. Maintain safe working practices

TASKS

Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities

Assist with engine room operations and watch keeping

Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation

Qualifications

STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/4 (seniority Junior/Expert)

STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/5 (seniority Senior)

Completion of all training and certifications as described in the Training Matrix

Experience: minimum 2 years to cover Expert position
