About the Role

Security Brigade is hiring a Python Developer to extend our internal security tooling - the automation layer that augments our consultants during web, network, mobile, API, and cloud security testing. Your code directly affects testing depth, coverage, and consistency on every engagement. You will build recent tools, integrate them into Lemon (our audit management platform), maintain existing scripts, and partner closely with the offensive security team to translate "I wish we could automate X" into shipped capability.

What Youll Do Design and build new internal security automation tools across web, network, mobile, API, and cloud testing workflows Maintain and extend existing scripts and tooling - refactor as the audit pipeline evolves- Integrate tooling into Lemon, our audit management platform,



so consultants can launch and review automated work without leaving the engagement Partner with the offensive security team - pair on testing techniques and translate them into reliable, repeatable code Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and tooling standards What Were Looking For Strong working knowledge of Python - data structures, standard library, modern packaging, async basics Working understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSH, TLS, and common web protocols at a wire level Comfortable writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code Familiar with MySQL or another relational database (schema, queries, joins) Comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu / Debian), Apache / nginx, and basic ops Git in a team setting Familiarity with PHP or shell scripting a plus- Genuine interest in cybersecurity - you do not need to be a tester, but you must want to build for testers What We Offer- Direct collaboration with a strong offensive security team - fastest way to learn applied security as a developer
