A Python backend engineer with robust SQL/database skills and hands-on Linux experience who has worked on production systems, query optimization, data-intensive applications, stored procedures, backend frameworks, and troubleshooting. The candidate should be comfortable understanding and extending existing Python-based systems rather than only building APIs using Django or Flask.
Preferred Data warehouse or data-intensive systems exposure
Backend framework enhancement/maintenance experience
Production support and troubleshooting
Experience working with large datasets
PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Sybase, Oracle, or MS SQL background
