Job Title: Purchase Executive – Interior Designer Firm

: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our residential interior design projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, services from contractors, coordinating with vendors and contractors, negotiating prices with vendors and contractors, placing purchase orders, works contract purchase orders, tracking deliveries of material and services, and ensuring that the required materials reach the project site on time and as per the approved specifications. Responsible for ensuring right quality of material and service is delivered by vendor and contractors.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of interior materials, vendors, contractors, pricing, quality standards, and residential project requirements, along with robust negotiation and coordination skills.

Job Responsibilities

1. Procure materials and services as per project requirements, BOQs, and approved specifications.
2. Source and coordinate with reliable vendors and contractors.
3. Collect and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
4. Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
5. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after necessary approvals.
6. Coordinate with Designers, Project Managers, Site Teams, and Accounts.
7.



Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services at project sites.
8. Verify material and service quality, quantity, specifications, and approved finishes.
9. Handle replacement or resolution of damaged, defective, or incorrect materials.
10. Maintain proper records of vendors, quotations, POs, invoices, and purchases.
11. Monitor material requirements and ensure purchases are within the approved budget.
12. Develop a strong vendor network and identify new suppliers for better quality and pricing.

Qualifications/Skills

- 4–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement for an interior design, architecture, construction, furniture, or related company.
- Experience in residential interior projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with an established network of interior material vendors will have an added advantage.
- Should be comfortable coordinating with vendors, contractors, designers, project managers, and site teams.

Salary range: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- Per Month, depending on interview and candidate portfolio.
