About us: January Designs is a 12+ year interior design and turnkey contracting firm based in Salem, with an in-house modular kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing facility. We handle design, MEP, civil, and woodwork execution end-to-end for residential and commercial clients.

Role: Junior Purchase Executive

Location: Salem

Experience: 0–2 years (freshers with relevant education welcome)

Reports to: Purchase Manager

What you'll do:

- Source and procure materials — plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings, tiles, paint, MEP consumables — for ongoing sites and the factory
- Get quotations from vendors, compare pricing, and place purchase orders
- Track deliveries against site and production schedules; follow up on delays
- Maintain vendor records, rate lists, and purchase documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and factory staff on material requirements




- Support in building and maintaining a reliable vendor base across categories (hardware, timber, tiles, electricals)
- Basic invoice verification and coordination with accounts for vendor payments

What we're looking for:

- Any degree; background in civil/interior/commerce preferred but not mandatory
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking
- Positive negotiation and follow-up skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple vendors/sites at once
- Prior exposure to interiors, construction, or hardware trade is a plus but not required
