- Prepare vendor schedules and place purchase orders based on sales trends, stock levels, and SKU performance to ensure optimum stock availability and space utilization.
- Analyze top-selling, slow-moving, and zero-sale SKUs and take corrective actions to improve inventory productivity.
- Conduct regular floor walks with Operations to ensure product availability, visibility, replenishment, proper display, and accurate price boards.
- Negotiate with vendors on schemes, offers, discounts, commercial terms, and promoter placement; maintain robust vendor relationships.
- Monitor competitor stores weekly to benchmark pricing, product range, and merchandising standards and drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement and stock-taking processes, maintain required registers, and support smooth stock-take and audit activities.
