We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to support the Purchase Department in procurement activities for centrifugal pump manufacturing. The candidate will assist in vendor coordination, quotation collection, purchase orders, material follow-up, and maintaining purchase records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in sourcing and purchasing engineering materials.
- Collect quotations from suppliers and prepare quotation comparisons.
- Coordinate with vendors for prices, delivery schedules and payment terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality and Accounts departments.
- Assist in purchasing items such as:
- CI / SG Iron / SS Castings
- Shafts, Sleeves & Impellers
- Bearings, Mechanical Seals & Gaskets
- Fasteners
- Motors, Valves, Pipes & Fittings
- MS / SS / Carbon Steel materials
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database and documentation.
- Update material status and delivery schedules.
- Assist in handling excess and non-moving inventory.




- Maintain proper purchase documentation for ISO and internal audits.

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of purchase/procurement activities.
- Knowledge of engineering materials will be an advantage.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally/Busy is an advantage.
- Positive follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Production or any relevant field.
- Any Graduate with relevant Purchase experience can also apply.

Preferred Candidate:

- Experience in pump, valve, mechanical seal or engineering manufacturing industry preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

Job Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Weekly Off: Friday

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
