Job Summary

Curriculum Associates is looking for a Production Designer to join our growing Educator Success Design team. He or she will design and edit print and digital implementation materials, which will primarily consist of informational guides, worksheets, slide presentations, and web graphics.
Location

Fully remote or hybrid. This role is fully remote for US based candidates. For India, candidates should expect to go into the Bangalore office.
Responsibilities
- Design/edit extensively in Adobe InDesign
- Update the design and copy for existing single and multi-page documents
- Create new single and multi-page documents from templates and style guides
- Ensure projects adhere to design best practices and adjust layouts accordingly
- Ability to apply accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0, ADA Compliance) is a plus
- Design/edit illustrations and product graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Figma (a plus)
- Design/edit photos in Adobe Photoshop
- Design/edit slides in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Attend and participate in project meetings.



Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, design team, and cross-functional collaborators to understand and execute project goals and maintain schedules.
- Track tasks using project management tools.
Skills and Qualifications

- At least 3-5 years of related experience with a bachelor s degree or equivalent experience is required
- A strong appreciation and understanding of both print and web design best practices
- Understanding of content markup and how to implement changes
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter and a deadline-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across multiple projects at once
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate across different functions such as Writers, Prod
