Reliability Engineer
Manufacturing Quality Technical Hub, Hyderabad

Lillys Hyderabad hub is a first-of-its-kind technical center built to lead the manufacturing and quality science agenda for Lillys global supply network, and the work done here reaches patients in more than 110 countries.

This hub oversees contract manufacturing of starting materials and intermediates for API manufacturing in India, managing the full scientific agenda for manufacturing and quality. Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Analyzes failures (equipment, process, system) to drive to root cause and appropriate countermeasures




- Establishes key best practices and techniques to minimize failures for mechanical / electrical equipment and systems in a pharmaceutical workplace
- Establishes the Engineering Requirements for the use and application of key condition monitoring techniques such as vibration, temperature, thermography, motor current, and ultra sonic technologies
- Active owner and developer of maintenance execution plans and work instructions
- Review engineering and design work by contractors and the submittals from suppliers and contractors against the engineering requirements including Lilly Global Quality Standards, Global Engineering Standards, and Engineering Master Specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical strongly preferred) typically found in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Demonstrated knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools and applications
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, using established methodologies.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment and key attributes required for maximum uptime
