- 8+ years of experience as a
Senior Mainframe Developer or Technical Architect
.
- Strong experience delivering and supporting
mission-critical legacy applications
.
- Hands-on expertise in
PL/I, COBOL, JCL, CICS and IBM z/OS
batch and online processing.
- Solid knowledge of
VSAM (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS), Datacom/Broadcom DB and DB2
.
- Experience in
legacy-code analysis, reverse engineering, module/dependency mapping and data-flow analysis
.
- Expertise in
coding, unit testing and technical documentation
.
- Experience in
requirements analysis, low-level design, SIT/UAT support and defect resolution
.
- Experience with
release implementation, production support and post-cutover monitoring
.
- Banking, insurance, or other
regulated industry experience preferred
