Welspun Living is looking for an experienced Project Head (Civil) – AVP to lead the civil execution, and delivery of large-scale greenfield textile manufacturing projects. The role will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, including civil infrastructure, factory buildings, utilities, compliance, contractor management, cost control, and timely commissioning of world-class manufacturing facilities. /n The ideal candidate should have successfully completed entire lifecycle of construction of greenfield textile manufacturing plants and possess strong expertise in industrial project management from concept to commissioning. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Lead end-to-end execution of greenfield textile manufacturing projects from feasibility to plant commissioning.

/n

- Develop project execution strategy, master schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

/n

- Manage design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

/n

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

/n

- Oversee construction of manufacturing buildings, warehouses, utilities, roads, drainage, administrative buildings, and supporting infrastructure.

/n

- Ensure projects are delivered within approved cost, quality, safety, and timeline parameters.

/n

- Monitor project progress using project management tools and drive mitigation plans for schedule or cost deviations.

/n

- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, tender documents, and contractor bills.

/n

- Drive value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality.

/n

- Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, environmental regulations, fire safety norms, and building codes.

/n

- Lead contractor evaluation, vendor negotiations, contract administration, and performance management.





/n

- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Utilities, Procurement, Finance, EHS, and Leadership teams during project execution.

/n

- Support installation readiness for manufacturing equipment and infrastructure handover.

/n

- Ensure implementation of world-class safety practices across project sites.

/n /n Desired Candidate Profile /n /n

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

/n

- 18–25 years of experience in industrial project execution.

/n

- Proven experience in leading greenfield textile manufacturing plant projects.

/n

- Experience in large integrated manufacturing facilities with exposure to spinning, weaving, processing, home textiles, garments, or similar industrial projects.

/n

- Robust knowledge of industrial civil construction, structural works, utilities, and infrastructure development.

/n

- Hands-on experience in project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

/n

- Strong understanding of contract management, budgeting, project controls, and risk management.

/n

- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

/n

- Willingness to be based at Anjar, Gujarat.
