Splunk L1 Administrator
- - Monitor Splunk platform health, data ingestion and forwarder connectivity on a daily basis.
- Monitor EPS, license utilization, indexing and storage capacity and escalate threshold breaches.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Universal Forwarders, Heavy Forwarders and data ingestion issues.
- Monitor onboarding of logs from devices and applications integrated into Splunk
- Execute predefined SPL searches, dashboards, reports and alerts for operational monitoring.
- Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled searches and alerts and escalate recurring failures.
- Perform user access and role administration based on approved requests.
- Raise and track incidents for data gaps, ingestion failures, performance issues and platform outages, following SOPs.
- Maintain daily operational checklists, incident records and shift handover reports, and escalate L2/L3 issues.
