Job Role: Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Description
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Support Windows, Linux, and Mac OS installations and configurations.
- Perform system installations, hardware upgrades, and application installations.
- Configure and maintain LAN, wireless, USB, and network printers.
- Provide remote desktop support and resolve user issues through ticketing systems.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new IT equipment.
- Support and maintain local LAN, Internet, and corporate WAN connectivity.
- Maintain CCTV and biometric systems.
- Manage user email accounts and resolve email-related issues.
- Handle backup management and assist with data restoration.
- Perform user data validation and maintain data integrity.
- Support security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus, authentication systems,



and log management.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, solutions, and support procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and service desk support solutions.
- Coordinate with other IT and Core Services teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with employees to understand and resolve their IT requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of user queries and technical issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 months–1 year of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles.
- Solid hardware and networking knowledge.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
