Job Summary

Location: Customer Office, Bangalore. Role Summary: We are looking to hire a storage expert who knows the pros and cons among different types of storage based on performance, use cases, and cost efficiency. This person will act as an architect to offer design suggestions from a storage perspective and will automate existing manual workflows. You will need: Deep knowledge of enterprise storage, and experience in a storage architect role. Robust hands-on experience understanding data center architecture and infrastructure. Proficient in Python and shell scripting, able to automate workflows and contribute to the code base. Able to address support cases and interrupts. Must respond to incidents during US hours. Familiar with working tools such as Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Claude, and others. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining storage integration with software development to remove toil and scale infrastructure, and help with storage architecture design.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect,



and lead the storage design based on compute and workload needs.
- Help customer teams choose the right model, size, capacity, and other specifications based on stakeholder needs and use cases.
- Use software methods to solve existing toil and manual tasks, and automate the workflow.
- Deploy the storage remotely by using scripts and internal tools.
- Troubleshoot storage issues or script failures.
- Manage interrupts and lead incident response during critical incidents.
- Build automation and tools in Python and shell scripting
- Develop Python-based tools and automation to support self-service workflows
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve the existing deployment script efficiency
- Integrate with internal and external APIs to orchestrate infrastructure workflows (compute, storage, network)
- Configuration Management, Infrastructure, and Monitoring as Code
- Use tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar tools to
