Job Summary

The Order Writer is the focal point for external orders required to optimize the Network. This position requires the ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to details, while still working with others on the team. A robust understanding of LEC and various other IXC order processing systems / requirements are required along with the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- External Ordering with LECs and various other Carriers, Following up on orders to completion. Working with internal teams to make sure orders are sent with the information provided, and updates are provided in a timely manner.
- Reports to (Supervisor/Manager): Works under the supervision of the Department Manager/Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proficient with LEC Change orders and Disconnect ASRs/LSRs
- Able to work in Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of SharePoint
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: 2+ years of experience required.
- Graduate Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Order Writer must be highly computer literate,



with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, as well as all ILEC and IXC electronic ordering systems and various internal web-based systems.
- Knowledge of the following LEC systems:
- - Toolbar LEX
- CAF
- EASE
- CSG
- ECS, ATT Long Haul, Verizon Business, Qwest, AFS, Time Warner
