We’re Hiring Trainees Across Programs, MEL and Public Policy

Public Policy Trainee (Rs.30,000 per month)

- As a Public Policy Trainee, you will support responsible and scalable deployment of AI solutions through policy research, regulatory analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyse policy and regulatory environments relevant to AI deployment in public systems
- Identify policy gaps and regulatory bottlenecks and contribute to solution frameworks
- Support ethical, safe, and effective adoption of AI through governance and risk assessment frameworks
- Document policy processes, stakeholder consultations, and implementation learnings
- Help translate AI solutions into policy-ready interventions and operational guidelines
- Work closely with research, engineering, product, and program teams
- Engage with external stakeholders including government officials, multilateral agencies, and civil society organisations
- Participate in field visits to understand ground realities and deployment contexts
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, clear communication, and collaborative working style
- Gain hands-on exposure to real-world deployments at scale

MEL Trainee (Rs.30,000 per month)
- Assist and shadow the MEL team in designing MEL plans, logical frameworks (log frames), and foundational project documentation to build core technical knowledge.
- Participate in field monitoring visits to observe project implementation firsthand and help gather qualitative insights during data collection activities under senior guidance.
- Learn ethical research compliance by helping prepare research protocols and organizing administrative paperwork for Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or ethics committees.
- Support the creation and formatting of project reports, presentations, and standardized templates destined for internal review and stakeholder dissemination.
- Support tracking of program indicators, monitoring dashboards, and routine project metrics to assist in timely reporting and decision-making




- Develop data quality habits by accurately documenting, tracking, and consolidating monitoring and evaluation findings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information and adhere to all data privacy and protection norms.
- Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor in line with project requirements.

Programs Trainee (Rs.20,000 per month)
- Understand a project’s scope and create documents for project requirements.
- Support the organization of team work plans, help track project progress, and follow up on task updates across different initiatives.
- Support scheduling, coordination, documentation, and follow-up of project meetings.
- Maintaining and updating trackers/dashboards” for deliverables, approvals, partnerships, deployments, and following up on action items and ensuring closure tracking
- Maintain the quality of all project documents/data to assure the integrity of a project.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to compile data, analyze progress metrics, and prepare results for internal reporting.
- Coordinate and align schedules for various project-related activities, meetings, and milestones.
- Maintain positive stakeholder relations by drafting updates, preparation notes, and briefings for existing and potential partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information and adhere to all data privacy and protection norms.
- Support preparation of presentations, review notes, briefing documents, and status summaries for leadership reviews.
- Collaborate with program officers to provide technical support to the National Health Mission (NHM) in deploying various AI-enabled solutions.
- Gain practical experience in implementing AI within public health frameworks, engaging diverse stakeholders, and applying implementation science methodologies.
- Maintain regular communication with government officials to ensure smooth project management and timely reporting.
- Partner with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to track project indicators and deliverables.




- Engage with stakeholders to assess community needs and foster an ecosystem supportive of AI implementation.
- Assist in conducting and co-facilitating workshops and training sessions to enhance healthcare providers’ skills in AI applications.
- Coordinate with internal staff and consultants to drive effective project execution.
- Document project outcomes, successes, challenges, and lessons learned to inform future initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information and adhere to all data privacy and protection norms.
- Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor in line with project requirements.

Requirements

- Solid quantitative aptitude with the ability to work through numerical and data-driven problems
- Good verbal ability, including clear written and spoken communication
- Solid logical reasoning skills to analyse problems and arrive at structured solutions
- Sound psychometric abilities, including critical thinking, learning agility, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to understand complex instructions and apply them accurately
- Attention to detail and consistency in execution
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve
- Ability to work collaboratively in team-based, multidisciplinary environments
