Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production & R&D; Chef / Manager to manage and supervise Central Kitchen production operations, while leading recipe development, product trials, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day Central Kitchen production operations.
- Plan daily production based on orders, sales forecasts, and operational requirements.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Develop and standardize recipes, cooking methods, production processes, and SOPs.
- Lead R&D; activities, including new product development, product trials, and recipe improvements.
- Conduct trials and optimize recipes for cost, quality, yield, scalability, and consistency.
- Prepare and maintain recipe cards, production SOPs, and process standards.
- Monitor food cost, yield, wastage, productivity, and overall production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, QA, Operations, and Management.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen discipline.
- Manage, train, and supervise kitchen and production staff.
- Monitor equipment utilization, production capacity, and manpower requirements.




- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Support the launch and standardization of new products and menu items across outlets.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in food production as a Chef.
- Experience as a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager in hotels or restaurants, or Kitchen Manager / Production Manager in a Central Kitchen, industrial kitchen, or food production unit.
- Strong knowledge of large-scale food production and Central Kitchen operations.
- Valuable understanding of recipe standardization, food costing, yield, and production planning.
- Practical experience in R&D;, product trials, and process development.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage both Production and R&D; activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Relocation The position is based in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Krishnagiri and take overall responsibility for Central Kitchen operations. Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
