Role & responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules.

- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

- Monitor production processes, batch operations, material consumption, and process parameters.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Production Planning teams for smooth plant operations.

- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, raw materials, machinery, and other resources.

- Monitor production losses, wastage, rejections, and process deviations and take corrective actions.

- Maintain production records, MIS reports, batch records, and other manufacturing documentation.

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP/quality procedures, safety standards, and plant operating guidelines.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction.

- Supervise and guide production operators/workers and ensure effective manpower deployment.





- Support troubleshooting of production/process-related issues in coordination with Maintenance and Quality teams.

- Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S within the production area.

- Participate in audits, investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS and statutory safety requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience in manufacturing/production operations.

- Positive understanding of production planning, process control, batch manufacturing, and shop-floor operations.

- Knowledge of SOPs, 5S, safety practices, quality systems, and production documentation.

- Strong manpower handling and team coordination skills.

- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and production MIS/reporting.
