About Peachmode

Peachmode is a fast-growing online ethnic wear brand. Our production runs out of Surat through our factory and a network of job workers. As we scale the number of designs we launch every month, we need someone at head office who owns the production pipeline end to end.

The Role

You are the bridge between our design table in Mumbai and our production floor in Surat. From the moment a design is finalised until finished goods reach the warehouse, the pipeline is yours.

You will decide with the merchandiser which designs run first. You will make sure every component fabric, dupatta, bottom, laces, trims, packaging is in hand before a style hits the line. You will negotiate and raise POs, chase job workers and material vendors daily, and approve pre-production samples before bulk begins.

Role & responsibilities

- Build and own the style-wise production plan and TNA calendar for the Surat factory
- Decide production priority with Merchandising which designs go first, which wait
- Track component readiness for every style, including whether the matching dupatta design has arrived
- Plan material requirements from the BOM: fabric, dupattas, laces, embroidery,



trims, packaging
- Source and compare vendors, negotiate rates and delivery terms, raise and track purchase orders
- Follow up daily with job workers embroidery, dyeing, printing, stitching, finishing and reconcile material issued vs. received
- Verify and approve PP samples on fit, measurement, shade, fabric quality and finishing before bulk
- Drive inline and final QC; reduce rejections and alterations
- Visit the Surat factory 35 days a month for line inspection, sample sign-off and vendor meetings
- Maintain style-wise costing and publish a weekly production MIS

What You Need

- 4-7 years in production merchandising, PPC or sourcing with an apparel brand, exporter or manufacturer
- Hands-on experience in Indian ethnic wear — sarees, kurtis, suit sets, dupattas
- Working knowledge of the Surat / Gujarat textile and job-work ecosystem
- Proven ability to negotiate rates and manage POs independently
- Ability to read a tech pack and judge a PP sample on measurement, shade and finish
- Solid Excel / Google Sheets
- Fluent Hindi and Gujarati; working English
- Willing to travel to Surat regularly

Good to have: Fashion or textile qualification (NIFT, Pearl Academy, DKTE or similar), D2C or e-commerce brand experience, ERP exposure. Interested candidates connect on mobile (phone hidden) and email on [email protected]
