Position: Production Manager

Experience: 8–12 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise end-to-end production operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Lead and manage production teams, supervisors, operators, and workers, ensuring effective manpower utilization.
- Plan manpower and allocate workers according to production requirements and shift schedules.
- Ensure all workers strictly follow approved SOPs, work instructions, and process procedures.
- Monitor production activities to ensure quality, productivity, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Conduct regular shop-floor monitoring and ensure compliance with defined manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, daily production records, shift reports, and KPI/MIS reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, Purchase, and other departments to resolve production issues.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements within production operations.
- Handle and support GMP audits, including audit preparation, documentation, employee awareness, and closure of audit observations.
- Handle and support ISO audits, ensuring production processes and records comply with applicable ISO requirements.
- Ensure proper implementation and adherence to SOPs, GMP, ISO procedures, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Train workers on SOPs, work instructions, GMP requirements, safety, quality standards, and good manufacturing practices.




- Identify process deviations and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Investigate production problems using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
- Monitor rejection, rework, downtime, productivity, efficiency, and production losses and implement corrective actions.
- Work with the Maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns and downtime.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper handling of production documents, batch records, logbooks, checklists, and other controlled documents, as applicable.
- Ensure workers understand and follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate production targets, quality requirements, SOP changes, and management instructions.
- Manage shift operations and ensure smooth handover between shifts.
- Take responsibility for achieving production, quality, productivity, and compliance targets.
- Support management during customer, regulatory, GMP, and ISO audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
