We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

Position Summary The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, food safety compliance, process optimization, and team management.

Experience in Pet Food Manufacturing is mandatory. Candidates without pet food production experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor manufacturing efficiency, yields, wastage, and productivity.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand.

Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO, FDA, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to maintain product consistency.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Optimize manufacturing processes for Himalayan Cheese Chews, Sustainable Protein Treats, and Lickable Cat Treats.
- Reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.

Team Management

- Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and plant staff.
- Conduct training programs on SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.





Inventory & Resource Management
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for raw material availability.
- Monitor production consumption and inventory utilization.
- Ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery, and utilities.

Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records, and SOP documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biotechnology, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Pet Food Manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing production teams in a pet food manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Systems, and quality management practices.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in dog treats, cat treats, extruded products, functional treats, or chew manufacturing.
- Experience with export-oriented manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization.
