Job Summary:
Senior Middleware Engineer (IBM IIB & MQ)

Role Overview:
Senior technical lead responsible for supporting, building, and optimizing critical enterprise integration infrastructure using IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Core Responsibilities

Production Support: Drive in-depth debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for production middleware applications.

SDLC & Deployment: Partner with regional teams (Americas/EMEA) to build, test, and deploy middleware assets across all workplace stages.

Architecture & Leadership: Provide SME guidance on SOA/ESB designs, change management, and reusable middleware assets.

Key Requirements

Experience: 8+ years specializing in IBM WebSphere Message Broker (v7.0+) and IBM Integration Bus (v9.0+),



including migration experience.

MQ Administration: Hands-on setup of Queue Managers, Queues (Local/Remote/Alias), Channels, Clustering, SSL/TLS security, and HA/DR (Multi-instance, RDQM).

Integration & Development: Deep knowledge of Message Models (WSDL, XML, SWIFT, NACHA, X12) and nodes (Compute, Java, SOAP/HTTP, File, Database).

Tech Stack: Korn Shell, Java, Perl, PL/SQL, Oracle (9i/10g/11i), and AIX/Linux environments.

Operations: Willingness to join an on-call rotation for weekend maintenance and off-hours support.
