Role Description This is a remote freelance Product Designer role focused on designing digital and physical healthcare product experiences.

The Product Designer

Freelancer will translate clinical and business requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visual designs for AI- and IoT-based medical devices and interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, conducting user and UX research, creating design concepts and prototypes, and refining designs based on usability testing and stakeholder feedback. The role also involves preparing design documentation,



ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards, and supporting developers and engineers during implementation to maintain design integrity.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Product Design and Design Thinking skills to translate complex healthcare needs into intuitive solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid User Research and UX Research skills to gather insights, validate concepts, and inform design decisions.
- Candidates should possess strong Visual Design skills to create clear, accessible, and aesthetically coherent interfaces and product experiences.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and basic interaction design principles.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience designing for healthcare, medical devices, IoT products, or regulated environments, and familiarity with usability and accessibility standards, is beneficial.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, and formal education or equivalent experience in design, HCI, or related fields, is preferred.
