About Us
ABCI Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to join our procurement team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services to support our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services from approved vendors
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements and budgets
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance on quality, price, and delivery
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with site/project teams to forecast material needs
- Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase logs, and documentation
- Coordinate with accounts/finance for invoice verification and timely vendor payments
- Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures
Requirements
- B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce/Business
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/procurement software is a plus
- Valuable communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple purchase requests simultaneously
