Job Summary

Responsible for sheet metal process development, supplier technical support, NPD activities and process improvement , ensuring quality, cost and delivery requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and validate manufacturing processes for sheet metal components and assemblies .
- Review drawings and 3D models for DFM, GD&T;, tolerances and process feasibility .
- Strong knowledge of laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, stamping, forming and welding processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges development and trials.
- Prepare and review Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan and Work Instructions .
- Support APQP, PPAP, FAI and process validation activities.
- Conduct supplier process audits and drive closure of technical/process issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D methodologies.
- Improve process capability, productivity, cycle time, rejection, scrap and rework .
- Support new product development, prototype, pilot and mass-production activities .
- Coordinate with NPD,



Design, Quality, Purchase, Production and Suppliers for timely project completion.
- Drive Kaizen, Poka-Yoke and cost-reduction initiatives .
- Support engineering changes and ensure proper implementation of ECN/ECR and 4M changes .

Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in sheet metal process engineering, manufacturing or supplier development.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and supplier coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple development activities.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations when required.
