Investment Associate

- Experience: 3–4 years
- Location: DLF One Horizon Center, Gurugram, Haryana
- Would require candidate to live close to office and be in office in person.
- Preferred background: Investment banking, Big 4 transaction advisory, private equity, corporate finance, equity research, from a recognised organisation.

This is a high-ownership role working closely with the Managing Partner of Global South Capital. The ideal candidate combines financial and investment understanding with strong execution and presentation skills.

What you will do

You will support the Managing Partner and investment team across:

- Investment & Financial Analysis
- Analysing companies, financial statements and business models
- Building and reviewing financial models
- Supporting investment evaluation and due diligence
- Conducting industry, market and competitive research
- Preparing investment analysis and internal decision-making materials

Managing Partner’s Office

- Supporting the Managing Partner on strategic and investment-related priorities
- Preparing briefing notes, research and analytical materials
- Coordinating and synthesising information across multiple workstreams
- Supporting meetings with entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders

Decks & Communication

- Creating high-quality investment and presentation decks
- Reviewing, restructuring and editing existing presentations
- Turning complex financial or business information into clear, compelling slides
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation, accuracy and attention to detail

What we are looking for

- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and investment concepts
- Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to independently create, review and improve presentations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work directly with senior leadership
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in businesses, investing and India’s manufacturing sector
- Passionate and with very strong work ethic and ability to revert quickly

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys being both analytical and execution-oriented, someone who can understand the numbers, form a view on the business, and then turn that thinking into a sharp presentation or actionable output.
