Qualification & Eligibility

- First Class B.Pharm from a PCI-recognized institution.
- M.Pharm in an appropriate branch/specialization of Pharmacy.
- Qualification should be recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
- Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience in Pharmacy.
- Out of the required experience, at least 5 years should be as Professor/HoD in a PCI-approved/recognized Pharmacy College.
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences from a PCI-recognized institution will be preferred/considered as per applicable PCI norms.
- Must fulfill the applicable PCI norms for Principal/Director/Head of Institution.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of PCI, academic, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the B.Pharm institution.
- Ensure compliance with PCI and university norms.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development and academic planning.




- Supervise teaching, examinations, student discipline and academic activities.
- Coordinate with PCI, university and other statutory authorities.
- Maintain academic records, documentation and institutional compliance.
- Promote research, industry interaction, placements and overall institutional development.
- Lead accreditation, inspection and approval-related activities.
- Foster a professional, student-focused and quality-driven academic setting.

Preferred Skills

- Strong leadership and administrative abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of PCI regulations and pharmacy education.
- Experience in handling PCI inspections, approvals and compliance documentation.
- Ability to lead faculty and manage institutional operations effectively.

Experience 15+ years of relevant teaching/research experience, including minimum 5 years as Professor/HoD, as required under applicable PCI norms.
