Job Role: Reggio Emilia Preschool Educator (Lead Teacher)
Location: 1st Phase, J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru
Position Type: Full time
Target Audience: We are a premier, avant-garde early childhood studio seeking an exceptional Reggio Emilia Preschool Educator.
Located in the elite residential enclave of J.P. Nagar 1st Phase, our center provides a world-class, child-led learning environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will not just teach—you will co-construct knowledge alongside children, document their extraordinary learning journeys, and engage deeply with highly discerning, global-minded parents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pedagogical Excellence & Co-Research
- Child-Led Inquiry: Design and facilitate emergent curricula based on deep observation of the children's interests and questions.
- The Hundred Languages of Children: Provoke expression through multiple mediums, including expressive arts, music, movement, sculpting, and digital media.
- The Environment as the Third Teacher: Meticulously curate aesthetic, open-ended, and inspiring learning spaces (ateliers) using natural, sustainable materials.
2. Pedagogical Documentation
- Visible Learning: Maintain meticulous, high-quality documentation (digital and physical portfolios, photo essays, and transcripts) that captures the thinking processes of the child.
- Reflective Practice: Analyze documentation regularly to steer the direction of upcoming projects and share insights with the pedagogical team.
3. High-Touch Parent Engagement & Partnership
- Premium Communication: Serve as a confident, highly articulate brand ambassador to an affluent,
well-educated parent community.
- Collaborative Portals: Conduct sophisticated parent-teacher dialogues, curate regular, elegant newsletters, and host pedagogical presentations.
- Community Building: Actively engage parents as co-partners in the school’s learning ecosystem.
4. Holistic Child Care & Safety
- Ensure an impeccable standard of physical, emotional, and psychological safety for every child.
- Maintain a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture that values the unique rights of the child.
Candidate Requirements Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or Psychology. Certifications specifically in the Reggio Emilia Approach or Montessori are highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a premium international preschool or a progressive, inquiry-based early learning center.

- Elegance in Communication: Flawless written and spoken English, with the poise and emotional intelligence required to interact with high-profile corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and expatriates.
- Artistic & Creative Flair: A passion for aesthetics, design, photography, or fine arts to beautifully document and display children’s work.
