Job Overview

We are seeking an Accountant for a full time role at Proof-of-Skill. This is a remote role. You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Qualifications and Skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance in India
Experience with Excel / Google Sheets for financial tracking
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy




Ability to manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Understanding of financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Robust organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential financial data
Self-driven with high ownership in a remote setup

Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, and compliance requirements
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Track company expenses and budgets
Coordinate with external auditors and consultants
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
