About the role:

We are looking for a semi-qualified CA to own day-to-day direct and indirect tax compliance and to be a keypoint of contact during statutory and tax audits. The role suits someone who is deadline-driven, comfortable withreconciliations and regulatory portals, and able to liaise confidently with auditors and consultants.

Key Requirement:

Direct Tax (Income Tax and TDS)
- Prepare and file TDS returns (26Q/27Q) and reconcile TDS with books and AIS.
- Support advance tax computations and the corporate income tax return.
- Assist in responding to Income Tax notices, assessments, and departmental queries with properdocumentation.

Indirect Tax (GST)
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and annual returns (GSTR-9/9C).
- Reconcile GSTR-2B input tax credit against the purchase register and books; track and resolvemismatches.
- Manage GST payments and e-invoicing/e-way bills where applicable, and support GST notices.

Customs and FEMA (occasional)
- Support documentation and compliance for periodic cross-border transactions,



including FEMA filingsand AD-bank/RBI coordination as needed.
- Assist with Customs documentation for any import of equipment or services.

Audit and Assurance
- Act as a primary point of contact for statutory auditors prepare schedules, reconciliations, anddeliverables, and resolve queries through the audit.
- Compile and review data for the tax audit (Form 3CA/3CD) and coordinate with the tax auditor.
- Drive timely closure of audit observations and keep documentation audit-ready year-round.

Accounting and Reporting
- Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books, including ledger scrutiny, bank / vendor / inter-companyreconciliations , and month-end close support.
- Ensure compliance-linked entries (tax provisions, TDS, GST) are correctly recorded and reconciled.

General
- Maintain a statutory compliance calendar and track due dates across heads.
- Stay current on tax and regulatory changes and flag business impact.
