Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
Australian SMSF Accountant
to manage SMSF accounting, taxation, financial statements, and compliance activities for Australian clients. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in SMSF accounting and a thorough understanding of Australian superannuation and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

SMSF Accounting & Compliance
- Prepare and review
SMSF financial statements and annual accounts
.
- Prepare
SMSF tax returns
and manage related compliance requirements.
- Prepare supporting workpapers, schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Process and review SMSF transactions including
investments, contributions, pensions, rollovers, and superannuation transactions
.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with Australian SMSF regulations.
- Review financial information and identify discrepancies or compliance issues.
- Assist with annual SMSF compliance and reporting requirements.

Client & Team Coordination




- Coordinate with Australian clients regarding accounting and SMSF-related queries.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and client queries effectively.
- Ensure all assignments are completed accurately within defined deadlines.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of
Australian SMSF Accounting and Compliance
.
- Good understanding of
Australian Superannuation and Taxation
.
- Hands-on experience in preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in
Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting expe
