Job Role: Senior Accounts Officer

Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle billing, payments, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Apply accounting principles and company financial procedures accurately.
- Handle accounting operations using Tally / ERP systems.
- Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, and other financial documentation.
- Perform regular accounting data entry and ensure accuracy of records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities for accounting and taxation matters.

Key Responsibilities
GST Compliance & Filing:
- Prepare and file monthly GST returns accurately and within applicable deadlines.
- Coordinate with the GST Department regarding compliance-related matters.
- Maintain GST-related records and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile relevant GST data with accounting records.

Tax Audits & Assessments
- Prepare documents required for tax audits and scrutiny.
- Assist in handling GST/tax assessments.




- Prepare responses and replies to notices received from tax authorities.
- Coordinate with relevant professionals and departments for audit and assessment requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory compliance.

Accounting & Data Entry
- Perform regular accounting data entry.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Handle account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain proper billing and payment records.
- Ensure financial documents are properly organized and updated.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP.
- Strong knowledge of GST and GST compliance.
- Knowledge of TDS and related documentation.
- Valuable proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong financial documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
