Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to manage our PET Bottle and PET Preform manufacturing operations at our Nashik plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for plant production, operations and day-to-day manufacturing activities.
- Manage 6 PET Blow Moulding machines and 2 PET Preform Injection Moulding machines.
- Plan and achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Manage 24-hour / 2-shift production operations through Line Incharges, Operators and Helpers.
- Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, rejection and wastage.
- Ensure proper machine setting, process parameters and production discipline.
- Monitor PET preform and PET bottle production quality and coordinate corrective actions.
- Control bottle weight, neck dimensions, wall thickness, leakage, visual defects and cavity-wise rejection.
- Coordinate with Line Incharges for manpower allocation and shift-wise production planning.
- Coordinate with maintenance team/operators for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper raw material, preform, packing material and finished goods availability.
- Coordinate with Store and Dispatch team for finished goods stock and dispatch planning.
- Maintain daily production reports, shift reports and production MIS.
- Analyse production losses, rejection, downtime and identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement systems for productivity improvement, cost reduction and wastage control.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and discipline on the shop floor.




- Coordinate with Management and Head Office regarding production planning, stock, dispatch and operational issues.
- Take ownership of overall plant performance and continuously improve production, quality and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

- 7-12 years of experience in PET Bottle / PET Preform / Plastic Manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience in PET Blow Moulding is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of PET Preform Injection Moulding is required.
- Experience in handling production operations in a 24-hour / 2-shift manufacturing plant.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management and shop-floor operations.
- Strong understanding of PET bottle quality parameters and rejection control.
- Experience in process control, machine settings and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyse production losses, downtime and wastage.
- Good knowledge of quality control and corrective action processes.
- CIPET / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical or related field preferred.
- Candidates with a combination of Production + Quality + PET manufacturing experience will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage plant operations and lead the production team.
