VERY IMPORTANT: Good team skills, enthusiastic about the open source community, and aware of the latest technology trends.

Solid Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms and Operating Systems, primarily)
Understanding of building blocks and basic fundamentals of web and scale (Web Servers, Caching, etc.)
MUST have 1+ years of experience working with web scale backends in Python, NodeJS, Ruby




Experience with our primary OS platform(s) - *NIX
Must have 1+ years of experience working on SQL DB and also knowledge of NoSQL DB
Outstanding problem solving and logical skills, adaptable
Passion to learn and execute with perfection
Should have solid hands-on experience with one or more web frameworks - Django (1st preference), Flask, OpenERP, Ruby, Python or NodeJS
Relevant programming experience - Databases, Algorithms
Passion and experience counts for more than the degree, so educational qualifications are not very significant
