Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor site safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Ensure workers follow proper PPE and safety practices.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
Monitor work-at-height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, electrical, and hot-work activities.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection checklists, permits, and records.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and workers regarding safety matters.
Monitor housekeeping and ensure secure access and working conditions.
Check safety equipment, fire-fighting equipment, emergency exits, and first-aid facilities.
Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and applicable statutory regulations.




Conduct emergency preparedness drills whenever required.
Support management in maintaining a robust safety culture at the project site.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
Knowledge of PPE, work permits, risk assessment, JSA/JHA, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
Ability to identify and control workplace hazards.
Good knowledge of accident and incident investigation.
Robust communication and leadership skills.
Ability to handle workers and subcontractors effectively.
Positive documentation and reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Safety Engineering preferred.
Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety will be an added advantage.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction / civil project safety.
Candidates with experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial construction projects are preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
